The pianist Agustina Herrera occupies a special place as an interpreter of the music of Constantino Gaito. Great-granddaughter of the Argentine composer, she carries out a research and interpretation work that, as a first step, has been reflected in the album “Constantino Gaito: Chamber Works”. Recorded in Zurich and released in Germany (Cpo Osnabrück).
His proposal, which extends to other Argentine composers, is to value their works and bring them closer to listeners through committed and hierarchical performances.
In this sense, the CD “Constantino Gaito: Chamber Works” had the highest recognition of 5 tuning forks in the specialized French music magazine Diapason.
